This new release from Tom Larsen and band smokes!!!! It is recorded live at two gigs in Hellam, PA, and Newark, DE, and captures the pure essence of smoking blues. This CD brings you into the clubs and pulls you into the mood…. cigarette smoking, foot tapping, good time blues boogie. Larsen's guitar is fat and cutting and he is more than challenged by the rhythm section of Charles Calloway on bass, and Aaron Walker on drums. Highlights of this CD are the title track, and "Phat's where it's at". Pick this up for a steaming walk through some hot blues/boogie with Tom Larsen.
