Back Ally Jones:  Set Me Free

Back Ally Jones is a band with strong commercial appeal. The most noticeable member of the band is vocalist/percussionist Emme Jones. At times Jones almost sounds like a young Grace Slick. The band also consists of two guitarists/vocalists, Ally Colvin and Marty Englert who along with Jones contribute to the success of this strong songwriting team. Along with bassist Andy Navarra and drummer John Polko, Back Ally Jones is one solid group of musicians. The song "Mediocre Girl" is definitely the big hit on this release and worth buying the CD for that tune alone.
